As domestic aviation scenario improves in Chhattisgarh, the scene would also look up for Chhattisgarh state.
This is because the aviation would also pick up from May 15 in Chhattisgarh and the Director General of Civil Aviation has already given its nod for the same.
The first of this connectivity would be between Jagdapur and Ambikapur.
The other prominent flights would include air connectivity to neighboring Andhra, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh.
The DGCA clearance is said to be on ten such air routes in which 20 seater planes would fly.
One of the routes finalized include between Raipur and Allahabad.
Chhattisgarh Aviation Departmnet Secretary Mukesh Bansal told media persons that first service to take off would be Jagdalpur-Ambikapur-Jagdalpur.
The DGCA is likely to issue tenders for other such routes as well.>
