Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh today condoled the death of former State Minister Mr. Hemchand Yadav.
Dr. Raman Singh in a condolence message said that in the death of former Minister Mr. Hemchand Yadav , of Durg, the State had lost a popular mass-based leader who worked tirelessly for the upliftment of the downtrodden.
Chief Minister said that Mr. Hemchand Yadav was a part of his Cabinet for ten year since the year 2003. He served as Minister in Labour, Water Resources, Panchayat and Rural Development and Higher education.
Dr. Raman Singh said that the contribution of Mr. Hemchand Yadav in the initial stages of formation of new State Chhattisgarh will be remembered forever.
Chief Minister said that in his death he had lost an energetic and hard-working man of the masses. He expressed his sympathies to the members of the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
It may be mentioned here that Mr. Hemchand Yadav died at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi last night. He was first elected as an MLA from Durg in the year 1998 in the yet undivided Madhya Pradesh.>
