Bilaspur: The Chhattisgarh High Court has passed an order for cancellation of CGPSC civil judge examination and result. The High Court has told public service commission to conduct re-examination for civil judge recruitment without collection of fees.
The matter was heard in the single bench of Justice Gautam Bhaduri. The High Court, while hearing a petition seeking cancellation of Civil Judge Examination due to errors in question papers, passed this order. The Court has told to conduct examination once again. In fact most of the questions for Civil Judge examination, conducted by Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission were erroneous.
More than 8 candidates had filed petition in the High Court on the issue. The CGPSC Civil Judge Examination was held in May 2019. Counsel of the petitioner Anchal Kumar Matre said that High Court cancelled the examination held about six months ago and told PSC to conduct re-examination.
He informed that the High Court, while hearing the case observed 70% errors in question paper. About 8000 candidates had filled up forms for Civil Judge examination which was conducted for 39 posts.
