CM Bhupesh Baghel said no shortage of funds for the development of Chhattisgarh

Raipur: Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel while addressing the Panch-Sarpanch and ‘Krishak Sammelan’ program organised at village Singhola of Daundi block in Balod district on Tuesday, said that farmer’s paddy will be purchased at the rate of Rs. 2500 per quintal. Paddy will be procured from December 1 to February 15, 2020, so that farmers do not face any problem.

The Chief Minister said that there will be no shortage of funds for the development of Chhattisgarh. Home Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey, Food Minister and District in-charge Minister Mr. Amarjeet Bhagat, Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Anila Bhedia, Sanjari Balod MLA Mrs. Sangeeta Sinha, Gundaradehi MLA Mr. Kunwar Singh Nishad and former MLA Mr. Bhaiyaram Sinha was present in the program.


Highlighting the personality of former Prime Minister of the country on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mrs. Indira Gandhi, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that she worked lifelong for the upliftment of poor and weaker sections of the society and sacrificed her life to protect the unity and integrity of the country. Leading the country efficiently in challenging conditions, Mrs Gandhi gave India a prestigious place on the international stage, Chief Minister said that she took drastic decisions like nationalisation of banks, abolition of privipers for former princely rulers.

The Chief Minister said that the government first waived the loan of the farmers, bought the paddy of the farmers at the rate of twenty five hundred rupees per quintal, this improved the economic condition of the farmers and increased purchasing power. He said that there is no recession in Chhattisgarh.
