Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that Guru Baba Ghasidas had aroused the self-respect and consciousness of the depressed sections of the society with his ‘Manke-Manke Ek Saman’.
The newly-elected Chief Minister was addressing a gathering on the auspicious occasion of Guru Ghasidas Jayanti in the capital.
He garlanded the picture and performed pooja at the Adarsh Government Scheduled Castes Boys Hostel premises. Mr. Baghel wished the citizens on the jayanti.
The Chief Minister said that Guru Baba Ghasidas gave a message of kindness to humanity.
CM Baghel said that Ghasidas spread the messages through simple usage of native Chhattisgarhi. He worked tirelessly for equality of masses.
The entire society should work for equality. Guru believed in non-violence. Mr. Baghel said that education and health are the top priorities of the State Government.
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that the authorities are keen on providing opportunities to the depressed sections of students to utilize their latent talent.
Knowledge is an asset which nobody can steal and it should distributed for the benefit of all . He called upon the students to study well and work for the benefit of family, society at large, state and the nation. Mr. Baghel said that the State Government had already started implementing promises made to the citizens.
Farmers loans amounting to Rs 6100 crore had been waived-off with the single stroke of a pen. Sixteen lakh farmers had been beneficiaries.>
