CM chairs meet of SPs; directs them to control crime properly

Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh chaired a crucial meeting of Superintendent’s of Police along with respective Collectors on Tuesday.

While the CM directed the two senior most officials of the districts to work in proper coordination, he also gave directions to the SPs on variety of issues like community policing, crime control and curb of illicit liquor trafficking or even traffic management.

Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police gave elaborate presentation on situation in their respective regions to which the CM said that coordination between SPs and Collectors is a must for smooth functioning of district.

He said that border ares must be made secure and intelligence need to be stepped up there to control crime as well as law and order.
