Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh has condoled the passing away of well known literateur Tejinder Singh Gagan.
The literary figure was also former Deputy Director General of the Doordarshan.
In his condolence message, Dr Singh termed Tejinder Singh Gagan as renowned poet and novelist.
Dr Singh also noted the contribution of Shri Gagan to the field of literature which was recognized by the state government way back i year 2004 itself.
It was then that the government had bestowed Shri Gagan with the Pt Sunderlal Sharma state honour during the prestigious Rajyotsav program.
CM Dr Raman Singh termed the demise of Tejinder Singh Gagan as an irreparable loss to the literary community of the state and nation.
The Chief Minister recalled the well known works like ‘Wah Mera Chehra’ and ‘Seedhiyo Par Cheeta’ of the late literary figure and said that he made a name for himself in the field of literature.
CM Raman Singh said that with his creations, Tejinder Singh Gagan not only highlighted the raging inconsistencies of thhe society but also inspired a generation to tread the righteous path.
CM Raman Singh offered prayers for the departed soul to rest in peace.
It need be mentioned that Tejinder Singh Gagan passed away at the age of 66 yrs at his Raipur based residence.>
