CM inaugurates five MW solar power plant, in this state

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur inaugurated 5MW Berry Dol Solar Power Plant constructed near Shri Naina Devi Ji Shrine in Bilaspur district today. This project has been completed by spending an amount of Rs. 36.24 crore by the HP Power Corporation Ltd.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister said that this power project has been synchronised with HPSEB Ltd 33/11 KV network Kot and the power generated was being sold to HPSEB. He said that this power project would generate 101 lakh unit electricity per annum and will earn revenue of Rs. 4.40 crore to the State exchequer.

Jai Ram Thakur said that the State was fortunate to have benevolence of Central Government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It was due to this love and affection of the Prime Minister that developmental projects worth crores of rupees were sanctioned for the State by the Centre Government.

The Chief Minister said that the present State government was laying special attention on a lover development of the State. He said that several schemes have been launched to ensure socio-economic upliftment of the poor and downtrodden. He said that the one year of the present government has been dedicated towards betterment of the State. Even the Prime Minister, has appreciated the efforts of the State government during the one year completion function held at Dharamshala.

Jai Ram Thakur said that the cooperation and support of the people of the State was required to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Chief Minister announced installation of 50 hand pumps in the area and Trauma Centre at Swarghat. He also announced upgradation of Middle Schools Dodla and Jhidiya to High Schools and two Primary Schools of the area to middle schools. He announced that Rs. 65 crore IPH Scheme posed for funding to BRICS would be sanctioned for the area soon. He announced science classes in two Senior Secondary Schools and commerce classes in two Senior Secondary Schools of the area.

He also announced upgradation of Ayurveda Hospital Bassi to 15 bedded Hospital and announced office of Block Medical Officer at Shri Naina Devi Ji. He also announced construction of Science blocks at Senior Secondary Schools Bassi and Behl.

Later, the Chief Minister inaugurated Dhalet-Jandori Road constructed under PMGSY completed at a cost of Rs. 5.24 crore. He also inaugurated Armoury block constructed by spending an amount of Rs. 1.25 crore.

He also operationalised the Firing Range in the IRB Complex.

The Chief Minister also laid foundation stone of Building of Six Type-III Residential Quarters including parking to be constructed by spending an amount of Rs. 1.73 crore.

Member of Parliament Anurag Thakur said that the previous State government failed to cooperate with the Union Government in matter of development which was always considerate towards developmental demands of the State.

Chief Spokesman BJP Randhir Sharma while welcoming the Chief Minister and other dignitaries said that the present State Government has signed the MoU with the Punjab government to construct Rope-way between Shri Anandpur Sahib and Shri Naina Devi Ji. He detailed various developmental demands of the area and also thanked the Chief Minister for laying foundation stones of various developmental projects in the area.

Several former prominent leaders of the Congress joined the BJP on the occasion.

MPP and Power Minister Anil Sharma, MLA Jhanduta J.R.Katwal , IG Himanshu Mishra, Deputy Commissioner Bilaspur Vivek Bhatia, CO IRB Gaurav Singh were present on the occasion among others.
