During state-wide Atal Vikas Yatra, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh inaugurated, laid foundation and did bhumipujan of total 52 works worth nearly Rs 144 crore in the general assembly held in village Maakdi of Kondagaon district today.
This includes inauguration of 28 works worth nearly Rs 58 crore and 24 works worth nearly Rs 86 crore. On the occasion, Chief Minister distributed goods and financial aids to beneficiaries of various beneficiary-oriented schemes of government.
The works inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr Singh today in Maakdi village include pre-martic girls tribal hostel of 100-seat capacity in Urandabeda and Bhongapal worth Rs three crore 76 lakh, government girls high school building and additional rooms in Dhanora High School in Vishrampuri worth Rs one crore 13 lakh, higher secondary school building in Bayanar worth Rs one crore 51 lakh.
Also included in the list are road widening and repair work of Antagarh-Bedma road worth Rs 38 crore 23 lakh, renovation of motel in Kondagaon worth Rs one crore 42 lakh, transit hostel in Kondagaon worth Rs 92 lakh, Avardhan Jal Praday Yojana worth Rs 6 crore 19 lakh in Vishrampuri, Nal-Jal Yojana worth Rs one crore 83 lakh in Rajagaon, Korgaon, Otenda, Manjhiborand and Sirsikalar.
Dr Singh laid foundation of bridge construction work worth Rs two crore 50 lakh en route Badekurushnar Road, Amravarto to Mohalai road construction worth worth Rs two crore 14 lakh, Kondagaon-Kanker Salhemeta (Dudhava) Vishrampuri Keshkal Road worth Rs 29 crore 46 lakh.
Also included in the list are Kondagaon Kormel Road to Gunipara Kudhur road worth Rs six crore 50 lakh, Schoolpara Matwaal Guniyapara Kudhur to Tumdiwal road worth Rs three crore 7 lakh, Indoor Stadium worth Rs three crore in Kondagaon, high-level bridge on Badedongar-Urandabeda-Kongud Road worth Rs 15 crore 70 lakh, and did bhumi-pujan of high-level bridge on Bokra River en route Kongud-Bokrabeda-Dhanora road worth Rs 14 crore 30 lakh.>
