Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh inaugurated on Friday the state of the art Chhattisgarh Samvad office building in Naya Raipur’s capitol complex sector-19.
On the occasion, a discussion was also organized.
Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, on the occasion, said that media is also growing with the changing times and thus the amenities need to be upgraded accordingly.
Interestingly, CM Dr Raman Singh noted that journalists played their role well during the Jhiram Ghati naxal attack.
He said that it was media at the time which present clear and crystal facts before the masses.
The media at the time, he said, also revealed the pluses and minuses of the government of the day.
It is noteworthy that the building inaugurated today has been built for a cost of Rs 30 crores by Chhattisgarh Housing Board.
The building itself is spread out in three acre area.
It is a built up area of G plus 3 with basement and premises spans over 1.12 lakh sq ft.
The basement has vehicle parking facility and has parking capacity of maximum of 74 car vehicles.
The Samvad building also has air conditioned auditorium facility with seatin capacity of 210 people.
Samvad Bhawan is encircled with landscaping, plantation and fountain to give it pristine look.
The ground floor has rooms for two General Manager, four Deputy General Manager, five Manager level officers and also an auditorium hall, lobby and VIP room besides waiting hall.
Likewise, the first floor of the Samvad building has rooms for Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, Additional CEO, Accountant level officers apart from meeting hall, recording room, account section and four toilets.
The second floor of the building has been bestowed with room for General Manager (Publication), Assistant Editor room, room for Deputy Editor, studio (TV), lobby, publication section, establishment section, store room, record room and four toilets.
The third floor has two massive halls and electrical room and store room.
