CM Yogi Adityanath to visit Noida; heres why its ‘beating’ superstition
Incumbent Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is all set to visit Noida today in what is being seen as breaking of a jinx.
Many of his predecessors, it be known, had shied away from visiting Noida during their tenure as chief minister because of the belief that it leads to loss of political power and loss in election.
Yogi Adityanath is visiting the millenium city to check security and other arrangements ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit To Noida on December 25 to inaugurate the Noida-Kalkaji Metro line.
The Noida Metro will cut short the travel time between Noida and South Delhi.
The superstition began with then chief minister Veer Bahadur Singh, who was asked to step down in June 1988 by the central leadership.
