CM Yogi decides Faizabad Railway Station to be Renamed Ayodhya Cantt

Uttar Pradesh Police ordering the AIMIM to remove posters mentioning Ayodhya as Faizabad in the state

Yogi Adityanath announced on Saturday that to renaming of Faizabad railway station as Ayodhya Cantt. (CMO) tweeted, UP government has decided to rename Faizabad railway junction as Ayodhya Cantt. Notification for the official change will be issued soon following an approval from the BJP led central government.

The development is part of a concerted effort by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to rename cities, stations and public places in the state after Hindu history.

The announcement comes close on the heels of the Uttar Pradesh Police ordering the AIMIM to remove posters mentioning Ayodhya as Faizabad in the state.

“The root of terrorism, which was planted by the Congress in 1952, Article 370 in Kashmir was abrogated. It was the final nail in coffin of terrorism,” Yogi said at an event in Lucknow. If BJP government is in the state, no one will dare to instigate riots, no anti-social element can dare so No mafia will dare to capture the property of the poor. If they dare, a bulldozer of the state government will run over their chest”.
