Coalition against ,IS group accuses Syrian President of allowing terrorists to move through territory

The international coalition against the Islamic State group has accused Syrian President Bashar al-Assad of allowing the terrorists to move through the territory he controls with impunity.

Talking to journalists in Washington, Major General Felix Gedney of the British army said, their movement shows that the regime is clearly either unwilling or unable to defeat Islamic State group within their borders. Gedney indicated that the coalition does not plan to pursue IS fighters into regime-held areas, instead calling on Assad to do so.

IS occupied large areas in Iraq and Syria, but concerted efforts by local ground forces backed by international strikes saw the terrorist group lose all cities they once controlled in the two countries.
