It was the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi that brought together the Congress leadership to Wardha and the party chief Rahul Gandhi took the opportunity to target Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He was speaking at a rally in Maharashtra’s Wardha when he pointed out that while Gandhi worked to unite the country, PM Modi was working to divide it.
Congress chief has been consistent in his position against the government ahead of the 2019 national election.
He went on to add that while the masses did try PM Modi and how he ‘broke the trust’, it is thus now time to trust Congress and Mahatma Gandhi’s ideology to take India forward.
