Cong leaders make allegations on state govt and their concern on tribals

Chhattisgarh Congress today questioned the relevance of Aabhar rally being organized by the BJP leaders for Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh during his Jagdalpur visit.

Congress legislators Deepak Baij and Mohan Markam questioned the relevance of this rally now when the state government had to withdraw its contentious land revenue code amendment bill under pressure from opposition and social and political outfits.

They said that these very tribal leaders of BJP had been drumming up the bill to be in favour of the tribals and are now looking to celebrate the withdrawal of the bill as well.

The two legislators pointed out that few of the ruling party leaders are making major investments in the land property in the tribal area of the Chhattisgarh state.

The two leaders expressed confidence that incumbent state government would have to face routing defeat in the upcoming assembly polls.
