In poll bound Rajasthan, Congress president Rahul Gandhi went ahead and accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of shaping the army’s 2016 surgical strike across the Line of Control (LoC) into a political tool,
He said that the central government has been unsuccessful in creating job opportunities for the youth.
He was addressing a public gathering in Rajasthan’s Udaipur.
Rahul Gandhi also pointed to the fact that non-performing assets (NPA) of banks was Rs. 2 lakh crore during UPA rule and has risen to Rs. 12 lakh crore during the BJP government at the Centre.
The Congress president alleged that the surgical strike was made public as the BJP was fighting elections in Uttar Pradesh.
On demonetisation and GST implementations, Mr Gandhi claimed that people have confusion about these.
He said that though China has a lead but India has not lost the competition.>
