Cong to act against two MLAs; for not casting votes in RS poll

That the two MLAs are not keen on continuing with the Congress and are more inclined to remain with the political party of former Chief Minister Ajit Jogi is known

With the letter of Congress Legislature Party leader TS Singhdeo writing to Chhattisgarh Congress President Bhupesh Baghel on the need to take action against two Congress MLAs RK Rai and Siyaram Kaushik despite party issuing a whip, it is clear that showcause notice and subsequent expulsion may finally come about.

But, party sources claim that the two MLAs would still have opportunity to present their side of story.

It need be mentioned that both Rai and Siyaram Kaushik refrained from casting their votes which is why Congress suffered an embarrassment.

That the two MLAs are not keen on continuing with the Congress and are more inclined to remain with the political party of former Chief Minister Ajit Jogi is known.

It is certain that the two MLAs would not shy from making their side of story known as they would reply to issuance of show cause notice.

It is also to be considered that state election in Chhattisgarh is due for later this year which is why everyone is positioning accordingly.
