Congress has now picked up on the tweet of the BJP IT Cell chief Amit Malviya announcing Karnataka poll schedule prior to that of Election Commission.
The party has demanded whether the central poll panel would ensure action against the leader Amit Malviya or even BJP President Amit Shah.
Party spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala said that the credibility of the Central Election Commission is at stake with this revelation.
Congress spokesperson has gone ahead and termed the BJP as super election Commission.
Even as the Chief Election Commissioner OP Rawat was addressing a press conference on the Karnataka elections, Malviya tweeted that Karnataka would go to polls on May 12.
However, some of the party sources claimed that the Malviya’s tweet actually got the vote counting date as wrong.
Malviya is said to have later deleted his post.
