Congress chief Rahul Gandhi takes potshots, on this issue

Congress chief Rahul Gandhi took up the issue of Sohrabuddin Shaikh killing just a day after a special CBI court in Gujarat acquitted all 22 accused.

It need be recalled that the case pertains to alleged fake encounter of Sohrabuddin Shaikh, his wife Kausar Bi and his aide Tulsi Prajapati.

Congress president Rahul Gandhi took a potshot at the order saying “no one killed” Sohrabuddin and the others; “they just died”.

On Twitter, Rahul said: “NO ONE KILLED… Haren Pandya. Tulsiram Prajapati. Justice Loya. Prakash Thombre. Shrikant Khandalkar. Kauser Bi. Sohrabuddin Shiekh. THEY JUST DIED.”

It is being seen in a way of how Congress is attacking the BJP on the issue.

Gujarat legislator Jignesh Mevani also criticised the acquittal of all accused persons.

Mevani also attributed “vendetta politics of Gujarat” to the suspension of Gujarat IPS officer Rajnish Rai who was suspended even after he
submitted his resignation from service.
