Former Karnataka Chief Minister Verappa Moily said that Congress cannot be kept out of any political arrangement that is to contest at federal level.
Senior Congress leader Moily made the statement amid the growing talks that a third front might be forged to contest the election and ouster the incumbent BJP.
He said that as regards to who would lead the coalition is open for discussion.
It need be mentioned that Telangana Chief Minister KC Rao and Shiv Sena supremo Uddhav Thackeray have had meetings with the West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in this regard.
But nothing substantial has so far come out of it.>
