AICC President Rahul to visit CG in July

Congress tribals’ wing will get to talk to the leader

All India Congress Committee President Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit the state in July. He is supposed to visit the state before the beginning (July 2nd) or after the end of Monsoon session (July 17th) of Chhattisgarh Assembly.

His visit will also be scheduled keeping the proposed parliament session in view too. Asked about a tentative date of his visit, party sources in the know of things, informed that Rahul could pay a visit to the state around July 16th.

However, Rahul, it’s learnt, has not approved of this visit as of yet. He has been extended an invitation by the tribal wing of the state party unit. Rahul jas been invited to listen to the problems faced by tribals and aboriginals of the state.

The AICC President, on his earlier visit to the state, had given a patient hearing to party workers. He had assured them to try resolve their problems.

<>pThis time over, he is expected to talk to tribal leaders on an one-to-one basis and develop an understanding of the problems they face on a day-to-day basis. Tribal leaders had met Rahul in Delhi during their visit on June 8th. They has requested Rahul Gandhi to come to Chhattisgarh and solve their problems.
