Convicted of tearing of a poster, three Ahamadiya community members sentenced to death

Three members of Ahamadiya community have been awarded death sentence in Lahore Pakistan on charges of blasphemy.

The three members are charged with tearing up of a poster demanding boycott of minority community.

The three members also would be required to pay Rs 20000 as fine and in absence of being able to pay fine, they would have to undergo six months of rigorous imprisonment.

Police sources informed that the three members of community were enraged that posters were propagating boycott of Ahmadiya community and were also carrying quotes from scriptures which were later torn apart by these three making them guilty of blasphemy.
