Raipur: Patients with corona-infected but without symptoms are recommended to be placed at home isolation. But during this isolation period, along with proper treatment of patients, it is important to keep their morale high. Home isolation system of Raipur district is doing this job well and it is proving to be a model for others.
The Home Isolation Control Room managed by Raipur District Collectorate under the guidance of ADM Mr. Vineet Nandanwar of the District is functional 24×7. Initiation starts by sending medicines to the home through the nodal officers after the positive identification of the non-symptomatic patients after filling the online form through the Home Isolation App.
Then the period of home isolation starts after the doctor’s permission. Counsellors call patients on time, to know their health and also to boost their morale. Through the emergency number, expert doctors listen to the problems of patients and also solve them. If the health worsens, the patients are sent to the hospital or Covid Care Center immediately through Assistant Nodal Officers Dr. Anjali Sharma, Novita Sinha and Chandrakant Rahi.
In such cases, the doctors appointed in the zones, blocks and districts have been given the responsibility of online consultation and due to quick preparation of the response team in an emergency, the model of home isolation management in Raipur is becoming successful. So far 14,602 patients have been allowed home isolation in Raipur district. Out of this, 12,171 home isolates have recovered after completing the period.
