CPM, AAP, social organizations protest crackdown on peaceful protests

Communist Party of India (Marxist), Aam Admi Party and many other social organizations protested against what they termed to be ‘dictatorial’ attitude of the state government on their genuine demands for the sake of farmers. CPM leader Dharamraj Mahapatra said that their demands includes implementation of Swaminathan Commission recommendations for farmers apart from ensuring Rs 2100 minimum support price and Rs 300 bonus for farmers as promised.

The protest was organized on Monday at Ghadi Chowk with massive presence of people as well as police to ensure security and maintenance of law and order.
