Crow Park gets functional in Vidisha as Pitru Paksha commences

It is now a befitting time for this and so it has been done.

While the stated aim of the crow park in Vidisha in Madhya Pradesh is to prevent their extinction, it has timely been announced with the commencement of Pitru Paksha.

It need be mentioned that Pitru Paksha is fortnight when Hindus pray for their ancestors and mostly offer to crows among other living beings.

The park has been opened by an organisation named Muktidham Seva Samiti.

The organization has arranged for the crows to have adequate food and water.

This year, Pitru Paksha or Shradh paksha started on Monday and will go on till October 8.
