As part of fall out of the Pulwama terror attack, curfew in Jammu continued following protests turning violent in certain parts.
The curfew now stands continued for yet another consecutive day.
The authorities have been quoted as saying that it is further expected to remain in force until the law and order situation improves in the city.
Authorities will take a call later in the day whether the curfew can be relaxed or not, it was said.
It need be recalled that protesters took to streets in Nai Basti, Bantalab, Domana and Parade ground areas but it turned violent.
A shutdown was also observed in Udhampur, Kathua, Samba and Reasi districts.
The curfew was imposed on Friday after miscreants torched vehicles and damaged several others carrying number plates of the Kashmir Valley in protest against Thursday’s killing of 49 CRPF troopers in a suicide attack in Pulwama by a Jaish-e-Mohammad militant.
