In the presence of thousands of Muslims, Maulana Arshad Madni of the Jamiat-e-Ulma-e-Hind and chairman of Darul Uloom Deoband, scathingly attacked the ruling party of deliberately creating communal tensions in the country.
Pointing at the BJP, he accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government is bent on dividing people of the country on caste, religious lines.
Madni went to the extent of saying that national election of year 2019 is an opportunity for the Muslims to determine their fate.
Madni had arrived to attend the ‘kaumi ekta’ conference held in Firozabad.
Madni asserted that communal politics has no place in Indian polity and that it will have no place in year 2019 election.
He claimed that BJP will fail in its motives to propagate sectarian violence in the country.
Though Jamiat-e-Ulma-e-Hind was not a political party, he said, and also does not have any political motives, it would not just stand by the side and watch the BJP destroy the secular fabric of the country.>
