Delegation of Central Tibetan Administration meets Himachal Chief Secretary

A delegation led by chief representative Central Tibetan Administration, Tenzin Norbu met Chief Secretary B.K Agarwal here today and thanked the generosity and support of the Himachal government to the people of the Tibet living in the state.

The Chief Secretary said that Himachal Pradesh is a mountain state like Tibet, and the topographical conditions are quite similar as of Tibet.

The culture of Tibet and Himachal Pradesh are also similar. People of both areas are peace loving and believe in simplicity.

He said that the manner in which the Tibetan community is peacefully protesting for the independence of their country from time to time is commendable.

Tenzin Norbu said that he is grateful to the state government and administration for all the love and respect that the people of Tibet have been getting in Himachal Pradesh from decades.

He expressed his gratitude towards the state government and administration by presenting the memorial ‘Dharma Chakra’ to the Chief Secretary.
