As security gets tightened ahead of the Independence Day, police have nabbed two suspected arms peddlers with arms and ammunition as well.
The incident is of national capital Delhi.
The accused were identified as Mohammad Azim, a resident of Malda in West Bengal and Aas Mohammad, a resident of Shamli in Uttar Pradesh, informed the police.
Police added that while Aas Mohammad was arrested yesterday, the other one Azim was arrested earlier this week.
Police have even recovered two carbines, 50 pistols and as many as cartridges from their possession.
The action was carried out by the special cell of Delhi Police.
The accused were involved in supplying arms to Delhi-based criminals for the last four-five years.>
