The state-run carrier Air India’s Delhi-Tel Aviv flight had been started amid controversies and opposition but then now it is all set to go daily.
The airline is said to have given its seal of approval.
The approval was given on back of 80 per cent and above occupancy rate.
This is also being seen as crucial to establishing of strong people to people ties between India and Israel.
Currently the Air India flies three flights to and fro.
It is said that the airline could soon withdraw flights from a few European destinations with low occupancy and engage its fleet to far east and neighbouring countries that have seen a steady rise in demand, it was speculated.>
