Even as the politics makes more news in so far as the national capital is concerned, the pollution levels in Delhi are undoubtedly hazardous to health.
Many health experts have been warning people to avoid outdoor activity because of air pollution.
The situation has gone to the extent that experts have advised even against exercising, going for a walk or running outdoors.
But things are not always what they seem to be on the surface.
But a recent study discovered that people who live in high pollution areas are more likely to suffer from heart attacks as compared to people who live in low-pollution areas.
On the other hand, exercising regularly helped these people who lived in high pollution areas.
Even moderate levels of physical activity, which includes active commuting or engaging in some kind of household chores which are physically engaging, can be very beneficial for health.
Exercising anywhere between half an hour to 4 hours were 23% less likely to get a heart attack. People who worked out for more than 4 hours were at 28% lesser risk.>
