The alliance of Bahujan Samaj Party and former chief minister Ajit Jogi’s Janata Congress Chhattisgarh has decided on leader of legislative party in Chhattisgarh assembly.
The meet in this regard was held on Saturday itself.
While senior leader and Lormi MLA Dharamjit Singh has been elected as leader of the legislative party of the alliance in Chhattisgarh assembly, Dr Renu Jogi is deputy leader.
It need be mentioned that Renu Jogi had been denied ticket for assembly election from Congress and got it from Ajit Jogi’s party to contest from Kota.
The alliance for now has seven seats in the ninety seat assembly of the state.
The finalization of the leadership is crucial as assembly session is to start from January 4, 2019.
