In a tragedy that struck Dharwad, it is learnt that three people have died and nearly 15 are feared trapped after an under-construction building in Karnataka collapsed.
Fifteen people have also been injured out of which three are critical.
The collapse took place in Dharwad’s Kumareshwar Nagar.
With the tragedy, the administration has taken to alert the hospitals in the district.
Sources said that 20 ambulances were rushed to accident site and so far fifty six labourers have been rescued so far.
Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy says he has instructed the Chief Secretary to supervise rescue operations.
