Differently abled girl alleges rape, in place of worship

What is all the more shocking is that the victim girl is differently–abled.

With nation-wide hue and cry over the Kathua child rape, it seems that the rapists have not been deterred at all.

This is because yet another such allegation has been surfaced where it is said that a priest carried out the crime within the temple premises itself.

The crime is of Dhamtari in Chhattisgarh.

What is all the more shocking is that the victim girl is differently–abled.

As per reports received, the crime took place on April 24 when the girl was on her to home but the temple priest intervened to say to her that her mother is sweeping the temple floor and that she should come inside.

Unsuspecting, the girl came inside when the priest identified as Ramakant Vaishnav closed the door behind her.

The girl then understood the intent of the priest but by then it had been too late.

She was raped by the priest.

It was when she returned home and started to show signs of ailment that her parents rushed her to medical care.

It was then that the doctors could ascertain that she had been raped.

The girl was coming back from college when she was called out by the priest.

It is said that the temple being talked about is of Ram Mandir located in Itwari Bazaar.

That the crime was committed in a temple has caused public fury, said police sources.
