On a two days visit to Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid obeisance at the Dwarikadheesh Mandir and also laid foundation stone for bridge between Okha and Bet Dwarika. Addressing a public meeting in Dwarika, Modi said that development is aspiration of people and he is merely filling in colours. He said that though there is tremendous tourism potential in the coastline of Bet, it needs connectivity.
Modi also mentioned that Diwali like celebrations are already ongoing in the country due to implementation of Goods and Services Tax (GST). Modi would also lay foundation stone for many infrastructure projects in this Gujarat visit.
