DMK, other parties to call for state wide Bandh on Apr 5

because central govt failed to constitute Cauvery Board

With Cauvery water management board not constituted despite the Supreme Court order, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) along with the Opposition and alliance parties have called for a massive bandh across Tamil Nadu on April 5.

The DMK working President MK Stalin also sought support from ruling AIADMK.

He had earlier announced showing black flags to the Prime Minister as they visit Chennai on April 11.

Vocal on the issue, the DMK leader slammed the Central government for delaying setting up of the Cauvery Management Board and termed it as connected to reining benefits in the upcoming Karnataka Assembly elections.
