Dog menace continues in Raipur; six including 3 children targeted today itself
The dog menace continues unabated in the capital Raipur and it seems that the administration is as clueless as ever.
The people are concerned that at least six people were bitten by stray dogs in Mohaba Bazaar area of the Raipur.
Among those injured includes three children as well.
Reports received suggest that one of the children narrowly escaped being mauled by the dog.
The child was initially pushed to the ground by the dog where after the child came under severe attack from dog.
The incident sparked off outrage in the locals who then resorted to beating of the canine.
The dog menace has become all the more concerning for the Raipur as only yesterday, at least five children had been targeted by the dogs out of which two had to be rushed to hospital.
Sensing the tempers running high due to these incidents, Mayor Pramod Dubey today met Chhattisgarh Minister Brijmohan Agrawal to urge for speedy appointment of two veterinary doctors to continue with the sterilization campaign of the dogs. >
