In what may further infuriate Congress, the Enforcement Directorate carried out searches in the premises of three people linked to firms of Robert Vadra.
Vadra is son-in-law of UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and husband to Priyanka Gandhi.
Sources said that the searches were carried out in Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru.
It was informed that the searches were aimed at cases of assets held abroad.
The raids were in connection with alleged commissions received by some suspects in defence deals, officials said.
“The searches at the premises of the three people linked to firms of Vadra were related to alleged commissions received by some suspects in defence deals,” an ED official claimed.
