After the Elphinstone Road railway station stampede tragedy, bodies of 17 out of 22 people killed have been handed over to their relatives so far while another two admitted in the hospital are said to be critical. It need be recalled that 22 persons were killed and 39 injured in a rush hour stampede on a narrow foot-over-bridge (FOB) linking Elphinstone Road and Parel suburban stations during heavy rain last morning.
