Encountering safety: Rahul Gandhi’s Meghalaya, tour cancelled

New Delhi: Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s Meghalaya visit has been canceled. The reason for the cancellation of the tour is the demise of the helicopter they got. The Special Protection Group has expressed objection to the chopper given to Rahul Gandhi for the tour. The Special Protection Group said that the chopper found in the tour is not suitable regarding safety, so it is rejected.

After seeing the helicopter’s condition, the tour was canceled. Rahul Gandhi was scheduled to visit Meghalaya on January 30-31, two days. Assembly elections will be held in Meghalaya on February 27, the result will be announced on March 3. Rahul Gandhi had to address the leaders and workers in Jainita Hills, Garo Hills and Shillong. There was no program for Rahul Gandhi to address any public meeting during his visit.

It is notable that on the Republic Day, Rahul Gandhi was seated in the sixth line instead of the fourth line and in this case the political atmosphere was heaped.
