Enforcement Directorate raids Raipur based jewellery; in connection with PNB multi-crore scam
As the country and politics debates the massive multi-crore PNB scam, the Enforcement Directorate has carried out raids at the Raipur based jewellery showroom in the connection.
The Enforcement Directorate team carried out raids at the Gitanjali jewellers showroom located in Ambuja mall.
It is speculated that over Rs 1.5 crores worth jewellery may have been seized in the raids.
The Gitanjali jewellery stores is said to be owned by relative of the Nirav Modi, the one is said to be prime accused in the PNB scam.
The raids in Raipur were carried out by seven officers of the Enforcement Directorate.
It need be mentioned that the PNB scam is such a massive scam that the two major political parties are blaming each other over who may be responsible for the scam. >
