FIR against two nurses for death of 10 infants in Bhandara hospital fire

In Maharashtra, Police have lodged FIR against 2 nurses of Bhandara District Hospital. This FIR is registered in connection with the fire at SNCU unit on 9th January where 10 infants had lost their lives.

Maharashtra’s home minister Anil Deshmukh has said that a case of culpable homicide has been registered against two nurses who were found negligent in an investigation. The matter is being thoroughly investigated by DSP-level officers.

The State government had taken action on 7 staff members including the Civil Surgeon.
