The maiden air service between Bhubaneswar and Raipur started from the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) today.
The flight was flagged off by the BPIA Director Suresh Chandra Hota, who hoped that the flight connectivity between two states would further help the states grow.
The flight will be in the 18-seater plane with two pilots and a cabin crew member.
It departed Bhubaneswar airport at 6:10 AM and reached Raipur around 7:40 AM.
The return flight from Raipur will begin at 12:15 PM and reach Bhubaneswar at 1:40 PM.
The flight services will be available six days a week except Sunday.
Passengers will have to shell out Rs 4, 500 per head since the 20-seater aircraft is yet to be included under the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) of Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA).>
