Gang of robbers stole jewellery worth crore, from a temple

Police has also recovered silver ornaments that had been concealed by the robbers

In yet another major robbery, a gang is said to have robbed jewellery worth at least Rs 1 crore from a temple in Jharkhand’s Jamtara district.

Police said that as many as eight armed robbers ganged up against the priest of Sri Rani Sati Dadi temple in Jamtara.

Police added that they looted jewellery including gold chains, silver umbrellas, earrings, nose rings and gold bangles studded with diamond.

Police has also recovered silver ornaments that had been concealed by the robbers.

Police has now launched a hunt to catch the accused.
