The Khiladi of Bollywood, Akshay kumar, is an Indian-born Canadian actor, producer and television personality, turned 52 today.
In a career spanning over 29 years, Akshay has appeared in over 100 films and has won several awards, including the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in Rustom (2016), and two Filmfare Awards for Ajnabee (2001) and Garam Masala (2005).
Akshay Kumar is one of the most prolific and versatile actor of Indian cinemas. He was the first Bollywood actor whose films’ domestic net lifetime collections crossed ₹20 billion in 2013.
When he began his acting career in the 1990s, Akshay primarily starred in action films. Later, Akshay also gained fame for his drama, romantic and comic roles.
