Haryana Health Minister directed for speedy completion construction of Tertiary Care Cancer Centre

Haryana Health Minister, Mr. Anil Vij today directed the concerned officers for speedy completion of formalities for the construction of the Tertiary Care Cancer Centre in Ambala Cantt so that the people of the area could get its benefit.

In this regard, Mr Vij was presiding over a high-level meeting here today.

Mr Vij said that the construction of this centre would benefit the patients of all districts in northern Haryana.

Apart from this, the state government has already got constructed, the country’s biggest National Cancer Institute in Jhajjar for the patients in southern Haryana.

He issued direction for the completion of all formalities for the mortuary, residence of doctors and other staff and construction of additional Block in hospital.

He also directed to soon equip all the buildings of new hospitals in the state with equipment. After this, all new hospitals
would be inaugurated and would be open for the people.

Those present included Principal Secretary, Health Department, Mr. Rajiv Arora, Director General, Health, Dr. Satish Aggarwal and other senior officers.
