On expected lines, the Bihar leader Upendra Kushwaha finally joined in with the grand alliance or the Mahagathbandhan.
Kushwaha had quit the NDA only last week and had been wavering for months thereafter.
The former Union Minister and the leader of the Rashtriya Lok Samta Party or RLSP had accused the BJP of “arrogance” after the party chose to keep Nitish Kumar happy at the cost of the smaller allies like Mr Kushwaha and Ram Vilas Paswan.
He praised the wholeheartedness shown by Rahul Gandhi and Lalu Yadav is one of the reasons after which he decided to join in.
He also addressed a press conference at the Congress headquarters in Delhi.
It need be mentioned that the Kushwaha community, which comprise 6 per cent of Bihar’s voters, have traditionally supported the BJP.
So BJP now has problems at hand with the exit of Kushwaha from NDA.>
