Former Chief Minister and National Conference leader Omar Abdullah has criticized the Governor’s decision to dissolve the Jammu and Kashmir assembly.
It need be mentioned that Governor’s decision had come about after National Conference had agreed to support the coalition of Congress and PDP government in the state.
Abdullah said that the Governor must explain his allegation that money changed hands.
He demanded that the allegations be backed by substantial evidence.
He also said he had refused the offer to be Chief Minister of the alliance.
Governor Satya Pal Malik yesterday dissolved the assembly shortly after claims to form government from Mehbooba Mufti and Sajad Lone, who was supported by the BJP.>
