As voting is underway in Madhya Pradesh, a turn out of 37.29 per cent voters was recorded across 230 constituencies.
It also emerged that maximum turnout was recorded in Raisen at 48.3 per cent and minimum 30.12 per cent in Mandasur.
Meanwhile, multiple bouts of violence have been reported from Bhind district.
It is said that Samajwadi Party candidate’s supporters indulge in firing to intimidate voters outside polling booths at Bhind Janpad Panchayat in Bhind assembly seat.
Also, in Lahar constiuency, anti social elements stormed into polling booth and damaged the EVM and that the government official vehicle was also vandalised.
BJP polling agent and three others were attacked allegedly by Congress workers outside polling booth in Rama village of Water constituency.
The Election Commission confirmed that 200 EVMs replaced across 230 constituencies.>
