Heres what Gujarat Minister confirmed on data collection of ‘minority’ students

The data collection is done from the school authorities in the online board examination forms

In a shocking revelation, it emerged that the Gujarat government has been procuring data about Muslim students, who have appeared for Class 10 and 12 board examinations.

It was said that this has been ongoing since last five years and was even confirmed by state Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama.

It was informed that the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Board (GSHSB), which comes under the Gujarat government’s Education Department has been collecting this specific data.

The data collection is done from the school authorities in the online board examination forms.

It could not clarified however why this data is being collected and what purpose it is serving.

But it was said by the government that the practice has been going on since 2013.
